About the Role
The Procurement Officer will manage the company’s procurement and supply chain operations.
This role involves sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and ensuring cost-effective, timely delivery of goods and services.
The ideal candidate will bring strong procurement expertise, particularly within the Oil & Gas / EPC industry.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle from requisition to delivery.

Prepare, review, and expedite purchase orders to guarantee timely supply.

Source, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize cost savings.

Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of critical items.

Collaborate with finance teams to reconcile invoices and process vendor payments.

Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Support budget planning, cost-control measures, and process improvements.

Requisite Qualifications and Experience
Education
-
B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
-
3–5 years proven experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role.
-
Experience in the Oil & Gas / EPC sector is an added advantage.
Skills & Certifications
-
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
-
Proficiency in procurement and ERP software.
-
Advanced skills in MS Excel and reporting.
-
Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
-
Professional certification such as CIPS or equivalent is a strong advantage.
Salary
-
₦300,000 – ₦400,000 monthly.
