Job Description:
Starters Events Management Limited is looking for a Procurement Officer to manage the purchase of food items, packaging materials, and kitchen supplies for our small chops operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality products at the best prices, maintaining accurate purchase records, and ensuring proper checks and balances on all expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase high-quality ingredients and supplies at competitive prices.
- Maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to meet production and event schedules.
- Track and reconcile daily purchase expenses with the kitchen and accounts department.
- Keep accurate records of purchases, receipts, and inventory usage.
- Ensure compliance with company budget and approval processes.
- Report discrepancies or unusual price changes promptly.
Qualification:
- HND or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2–3 years experience in procurement, preferably in the food, hospitality, or catering industry.
Salary Range:
₦130,000 – ₦150,000 monthly
