Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, thorough, and organized feed mill operator to oversee the operation of our two-ton Hammer Mills.
- In this position, you will play a key role in the production of quality feeds and the maintenance of the machinery for cost-efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring product quality and maintaining production schedules to ensure that products are produced in accordance with company standards and quantity
- Operating machinery to grind grain into flour or blend feed ingredients according to recipe specifications
- Mixing ingredients to create feed blends using mixers, grinders, and a feed mill
- Monitoring machinery to ensure that it is functioning properly
- Maintaining inventory of feed ingredients and finished products to ensure that levels do not drop below the required amounts
- Monitoring storage conditions to ensure that products do not spoil
- Mixing ingredients to create the required products for poultry, fish, or other livestock
- Perform other functions as may be

Requirements
- HND or BSC Technical or Mechanical in a related
- At least 2 years previous experience as feed mill operator in the poultry/ livestock industry
