WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN:
TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.
This is a remote position based in the EMEA region. Candidates must currently reside in an EMEA country. No relocation or work permit sponsorship is provided.
YOUR MAIN TASKS:
- Act as the General Manager to ensure design requirements and contractual obligations are met, while providing leadership in line with TE project management policies.
- Drive the development of the Project Charter and maintain P&L accuracy throughout all phases.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through prompt communication and regular meetings, and align all stakeholders to the Project Charter.
- Define, scope, and initiate the project by identifying all internal and external requirements, and plan work with functional managers to secure resources.
- Build and lead the project team, ensuring readiness for Gate and Interim Gate Reviews.
- Execute the project plan to meet milestones, KPIs, and timelines, while proactively addressing barriers and roadblocks.
- Monitor and control project progress to prevent delays or budget overruns.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and liabilities.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and promote best practices and continuous improvement in project execution.

YOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience in engineering or product development environments preferred.
- Proven experience in new product development launches and manufacturing line transfers between sites
- Background in regulated industries such as Energy, Automotive, or Aerospace.
- Project Management certification (CAPM, PMP, PgMP, or equivalent) is desired.
- Strong knowledge of project management and general engineering tools; proficient in MS Project.
- Deep understanding of product development lifecycles (Stage-Gate, Agile, or Hybrid).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English and effective at global stakeholder engagement.
- Able to lead cross-functional, distributed teams, manage multiple projects, drive accountability, and work independently with minimal direction
