Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, or related fieldfrom a recognized institution.
- 3–5 years relevant experiencein construction or civil engineering projects.
- Must beproficient in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial managementof construction projects.
- Strong knowledge ofcontract administration, project valuation, and tendering processes.
- Familiarity withbuilding and construction materials, methods, and legal regulations.
- Proficient in the use ofMS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software(e.g., CostX, WinQS).
- Excellentnumerical and analytical skillswith strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prepareBills of Quantities (BOQ), cost control reports, and valuations.
- Strongcommunication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
- Must be aregistered memberor in the process of registration with NIQS or any recognized QS professional body.
