Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager to oversee and drive operational, sales, and field activities across the Port Harcourt region.
- The ideal candidate is highly field-oriented, has strong leadership capabilities, and brings deep experience working within the fintech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a regional team of 50+ staff, ensuring high performance and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee field operations, sales activities, and strategic initiatives to drive growth within the region.
- Regularly travel across and outside Port Harcourt to supervise field teams, support activities, and ensure effective market execution.
- Develop and implement regional plans to increase market penetration, user acquisition, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management.
- Ensure smooth coordination between field teams, key accounts, and internal departments.
- Maintain strong knowledge of fintech operations, compliance requirements, and market dynamics.
Requirements
- 5 – 7 years of experience in field operations, sales operations, or regional leadership roles.
- Prior experience working in a fintech company is mandatory.
- Proven track record managing large teams (50+ staff).
- Strong field orientation; must have hands-on experience beyond key account management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within and outside Port Harcourt.
Preferred Attributes:
- Strong market understanding of the South-South region.
- Ability to work under pressure and drive results in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
