We are seeking a competent and experienced Registered Site Builder to oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities for multi-story developments.
Role Summary
The Site Builder will be responsible for supervising and driving construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are executed in line with architectural and structural drawings, timelines, and safety standards. The ideal candidate is technically grounded and highly organized.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on-site
• Interpret architectural, M&E and structural drawings and ensure accurate execution
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, and quality standards
• Supervise tradesmen, artisans, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure high-quality delivery
• Conduct routine site inspections and resolve technical or execution-related issues
• Monitor material usage and report discrepancies or wastage
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on-site
• Maintain accurate daily site reports and communicate progress to stakeholders
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
• MUST be a Registered Builder (CORBON-certified) in Nigeria
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on site experience, particularly on multi-story building projects
• Deep understanding of structural construction processes and sequencing
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings
• Ability to manage teams, timelines, and evolving site demands
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently without micromanagement
• Comfortable with digital reporting tools and construction documentation
• You are results-oriented and take pride in delivering structurally sound and aesthetically precise buildings
• You don’t wait to be told what to do, you anticipate and act
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and can balance quality with speed
Working Hours
This position requires on-site presence from Monday – Saturday, between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Due to the nature of construction timelines, the Site Builder may also be required to work on Sundays when critical tasks such as slab casting are scheduled.
