Job Summary:
- We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our team.
- The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with current clients, and ensuring the company achieves its sales targets.
- You will play a vital role in growing our client base and driving revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
- Identify and prospect new clients and sales opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Conduct research to identify potential customers and market trends.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with product features, benefits, and market trends.
- Provide presentations, demonstrations, and detailed explanations of products/services to customers.
Sales Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and agreements.
- Successfully close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline reports.
- Provide regular updates to the sales manager regarding sales performance.
- Prepare reports on sales achievements and potential opportunities.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment in efforts and effective communication.
- Attend sales meetings, conferences, and training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly.
- Goal-oriented with a strong desire to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Plastic Markets within Onitsha and environs is a MUST
- Must be ready to meet assigned targets and can also speak the local dialects.
