Role Purpose

  • The Sales Manager will lead Pullus’ sales function, driving revenue growth and market expansion across Nigeria.
  • The role develops and executes sales strategies, manages the sales team, and ensures consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • This position is central to building strong customer relationships, opening new markets, and positioning Pullus as the leading poultry and agritech partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with Pullus’ growth objectives.
  • Define monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Identify new markets and high-value customer segments
  • Acquire and grow B2B accounts (QSRs, retailers, hotels, institutions) and B2C channels.
  • Negotiate contracts and partnerships for long-term retention.
  • Represent Pullus at industry events and trade fairs.
  • Recruit, train, and manage Sales Executives and Account Officers.
  • Set clear KPIs, track performance, and coach staff for improved conversion rates.
  • Use CRM and dashboards to track pipelines, forecasts, and client interactions.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to execute campaigns and promotions.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain for product availability and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with QA to address product quality feedback.
  • Work with Finance to align sales targets with revenue goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA an advantage).
  • 7–10 years’ sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong B2B/B2C customer acquisition background, preferably FMCG/agribusiness.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
