Role Purpose
The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring the achievement of business objectives within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver agreed business objectives and KPIs for the territory (Sell-in, Sell-out, Focus Category, NPD listing, Promotions).

Achieve sales driver goals (Distribution, Visibility, Price, Promotion).

Manage territories with potential to deliver ₦1B+ annually.

Plan and achieve customer-based and territory-based sales targets (NIV & Category) ensuring MoM and YoY growth.

Review distributors’ performance against KPIs and develop Joint Business Plans (JBP) with the ZM.

Conduct bi-weekly stock-taking to protect company resources.

Track distributor performance payments, reconciliation, and repayment plans.
-
Ensure timely debt collection linked to sales of depleted SKUs.

Maintain compliance with monthly journey plans for customer engagement.
-
Enforce retail operating standards in all showrooms.
-
Organize and coordinate floor sales merchandizers.
-
Implement credit control for key distributors and monitor purchases within approved limits.

Safeguard and monitor POS/sales-driving materials for optimal use.
-
Promote Quality Management Systems (QMS) and safety standards in all operations.

Ensure resource efficiency and environmental responsibility.
Qualifications & Experience
-
First Degree in any discipline.
-
1–2 years’ experience in sales or marketing with a strong record of delivering KPIs.

Direct experience with PZ Cussons Way of Selling capabilities, especially:

Sales driver execution (QDVP)
-
Outlet segmentation
-
Relationship management (structured calls, persuasive selling, brand passion)

Experience in an electrical-related company is an advantage.
