Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our Abuja office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing strong relationships with Qatar Airways’ corporate and trade customers, driving revenue growth, and ensuring efficient distribution processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with clients.

  • Prepare and execute data-driven Account Development Plans to achieve short, medium, and long-term goals.

  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of QR’s sales strategy to maximize revenue and reduce cost of sales.

  • Analyze sales data and identify both long-term and tactical revenue opportunities.

  • Manage sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Sales Manager.

  • Optimize marketing spend and manage allocated expenditure budgets.

  • Provide regular market intelligence and competitor feedback.

  • Represent Qatar Airways at trade events, promotions, and educational/familiarization visits.

  • Support client needs by coordinating with marketing, operations, and finance teams.

  • Conduct airline sales performance analysis using business tools.

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market conditions.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years of job-related experience in sales/account management.

  • Proven experience in a multi-cultural environment, preferably within the airline industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Knowledge of GDS systems, ticketing, and selling processes.

  • Experience in working within a target-driven, pressurized environment.

  • Legal authorization to live and work in Nigeria.
