About GTI Microfinance Limited
GTI Microfinance Limited was incorporated in August 2007 as a limited liability company and started its operations in 2008 at No. 127 Obafemi Awolowo Road, Ikeja.
In October 2013, it was licensed as a State Wide Microfinance Bank and moved its Head Office to No. 4 Tinubu Street, Central Business District, Marina Lagos. Other branches are located at Mushin, Abattoir in Agege, Surulere and Arena.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit appraisals of loan applications, including analysis of financial statements, cash flow, repayment capacity, and collateral.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for management or credit committee approval.
- Ensure all credit proposals comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements (CBNguidelines).
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signals of potential default.
- Recommend restructuring, remedial actions, or recovery strategies for non-performing loans.
- Support the Head of Credit in implementing effective risk management practices.
- Review and update credit risk assessment models and scoring criteria.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to junior credit officers.
- Liaise with account officers, business development teams, and other departments to ensure sound credit decisions.
- Participate in credit committee meetings and contribute to policy formulation.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree with 3 – 6 years of experience.
