At Dorman Long Engineering Limited, we provide an extensive range of engineering – centered services and products to several industries. Our core areas of operations however are; the Oil and Gas (onshore and offshore), Telecommunications, Manufacturing and Power industries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment with objectives.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high-quality standards, overseeing compliance with industry regulations.
- Track project progress, generate reports, and ensure seamless execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role within an EPC, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
