TIM Motors Nigeria is a Chinese automotive firm expanding into the Nigerian market. Building on its established commercial vehicle business, the company is introducing affordable Chinese-made sedans and SUVs to challenge the dominance of used cars. By offering better warranties, financing options, and after-sales services, TIM Motors aims to capture significant market share within three years. The company also plans to establish local assembly plants to foster employment and technology transfer.


Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Revenue Generation

  • Drive sales performance to achieve and exceed revenue targets and quotas.

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across the passenger vehicle market.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value customers, ensuring satisfaction and retention.

  • Address client needs with tailored product and service solutions.

Business Development

  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

  • Expand the customer base through prospecting, networking, and referrals.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams to align business strategies.

  • Mentor and support junior sales staff by sharing best practices and fostering skill development.

Reporting & Strategy Execution

  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates for management.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to enter and expand into new markets.

Customer Engagement & Presentations

  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

After-Sales Support

  • Ensure smooth client onboarding and efficient after-sales service delivery.

  • Collect and address customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5–10 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or related industry.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting client relationships and close high-value deals.

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
