Natural Girl Wigs – Our client, Metaverse Magna, a mobile games publisher, is building the next-generation mobile gaming platform. This platform gives consumers access to the best games on app stores without any ads and for free, while also assisting game developers in monetizing their games ten times more effectively.
Position Overview
- We are looking for an SEO manager to lead organic search growth. You will own SEO strategy end-to-end and drive App Store Optimization (ASO). Our goal is to rank for hundreds of high-intent keywords across game titles, genres, and evergreen gaming topics.
- The ideal candidate has spent a significant part of their career growing large content websites through programmatic SEO & backlink acquisition.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design scalable site architecture, URL strategy, and internal linking to support thousands of dynamic game pages.
- Audit and improve crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and site speed.
- Build processes for automatic XML sitemaps, canonicalization, hreflang (if multilingual), and log-file analysis.
- Create and execute a keyword strategy to rank for individual game names, game genres, and gaming-related queries.
- Collaborate with content and dev teams on meta data, structured data, rich snippets, and topical clustering.
- Set standards for game detail pages to maximize organic traffic.
- Acquire high-quality backlinks at scale (digital PR, partnerships, guest posts).
- Manage reputation and link profile to avoid penalties.
- Build dashboards to monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and indexation (GA4, Search Console, Looker/Data Studio).
- Research keywords and metadata for iOS Appstore optimization.
- Optimize titles, descriptions, screenshots, and videos to increase conversion.
- Partner with product managers and engineers on SEO requirements during feature development.
- Mentor content writers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SEO experience, with at least 3 years managing SEO for large, complex, database-driven sites (e.g., travel booking, e-commerce marketplace, or large gaming portal).
- Expert knowledge of:
- Advanced technical SEO knowledge (JavaScript, site architecture, log analysis)
- Keyword research and topic clusters
- Structured data / schema.org and rich results
- Link building and digital PR
- App Store Optimization fundamentals
- Strong proficiency with tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMRush, Screaming Frog, log analyzers, Data Studio/Looker.
- Basic coding/markup familiarity: HTML, CSS, JavaScript rendering issues; ability to work with developers on fixes.
- Analytical mindset with proven ability to connect SEO work to business KPIs.
