Job Description

  • The Bonga New Oil Project’s Senior Hardware Delivery Engineer is responsible for Engineering, delivering, installation and successful tie-in of the Subsea Hardware to topsides for deepwater project.
  • Hardware includes but not limited to Subsea Christmas Trees, subsea control modules, Slot Doubler Manifolds, well Jumpers, Flowline jumpers, Tubing Hangers, Tubing Head Spools, HFL, EFL, Tree Caps and Jumper connecting tools.
  • Bonga New Oil Project is the development of new opportunities on the existing Bonga field through in-fill wells tied back to the Bonga Main FPSO.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop Projects Basis for design, Engineering and design packages for subsea and topsides work packages.
  • Responsible for project execution input and delivery of assigned project scope.
  • Ensure engineering, fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning, and start-up activities for subsea hardware scope are delivered safely as per company requirement.
  • Manage and deliver Quality, Cost and Schedule performance against agreed stretch target applying project principles, company ORS and Project Management and assurance Framework.
  • Ensure efficient resolution of all technical and non-technical issues during project execution.
  • Lead the deployment of appropriate solutions to facilitate efficient execution during design, construction, and offshore installation.
  • Drive the development of appropriate project cost estimates and schedules.
  • Coordinate discipline input for studies, progressing Select, Define and Execution of assigned project scope.
  • Ensure technical integrity is established and maintained through Technical Authorities (TAs).
  • Ensure that Non-Technical Risks are identified, and impact is included in cost and schedule.
  • Provide authentic and visible leadership in the areas of HSSE, diversity, interpersonal and technical skills development, and cost leadership.
  • Managing and verifying the technical delivery to ensure optimal solution in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Developing inputs to the overall Project Execution Planning including all technical and non-technical aspects, that integrates all aspects of execution thinking for how the project will be executed, commissioned, and handed over to operations.
  • Lead various technical reviews (HAZIDs, HAZOPs, Project Technical Reviews, Risk Assessments, etc.), and ensure implementation of recommendations, as necessary.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience, including 7+ years in subsea hardware delivery.
  • Registered with COREN or actively pursuing registration (mandatory).
  • Proven track record in large-scale offshore projects in subsea systems.
  • Strong leadership in safety (HSSE), technical delivery, and team collaboration.
  • Experience with subsea project execution, cost control, and contract management.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as applicable deepwater engineering Industry codes and standards, the project management framework, the technical assurance framework, and the HSSE framework.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

2. Project Security Manager

Description
Where you fit in?

  • Security risk management and functional support for Projects, Exploration and Development activities in SCIN. This includes robust contribution to the maturation, development and execution of the company’s opportunity and growth projects.
  • Work closely with Project Directors, Project Managers, BOMs, GMs and the entire project community.

What is the role?

  • The Position is indirectly responsible for the Planning and Cost of the security architecture associated with the various opportunities in maturation to project execute phase.
  • With solid-line to the Country Security Manager but have a dotted-line reporting to the Project  Directors and a strong working relationship with other relevant General Managers and Project Managers

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to ensure that every project has a cost effective, fit for purpose, risk-based security solution that reduce risks to ALARP and makes all stakeholders aware of the risks to the project.
  • Manage all security project security risks, execution and ensure seamless handover to the Asset Security Team upon completion.
  • Manage effective project security teams that are capably led, appropriately resourced, competent, and work together to achieve clearly defined outcomes
  • Manage the integration and implementation of security requirements/deliverables covered in security basis of design and security plans and ensure adequate coverage of security considerations in project execution strategy, EPC contracts, ITTs and bid evaluation.
  • Drive development and implementation of security management systems including interface, cost, assurance and monitoring/reporting across Wells and Projects.
  • Manage the development of all security deliverables required as per the Opportunity Realisation Standards (ORS).
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and standards as per Group Security Standards and the Group HSSE&SP Control Framework.
  • Influence, collaborate and support contractors and vendors engaged by the project to deliver effective and efficient security for all aspects of the project.
  • Understanding the security and geo-political dynamics across the Niger Delta and developing security concepts/plans to manage complex risks.
  • Working collaboratively and in an integrated way with cross-functional business partners.
  • Requires willingness to multitask under intense pressure and tight timelines.
  • Managing security logistics deployments for onshore and offshore activities.
  • Work closely with the CR and SE teams; including knowledge of appropriate technical security requirements.

Requirement
What we need from you?

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution. Post graduate qualification in relevant fields will be an advantage.
  • A strong focus on end-to-end delivery of sustained, competitive, and affordable projects.
  • Strong focus on outcomes and meaningfully apply good project management practices, as reflected in the Project Management Framework (PMF).
  • Good knowledge of E&P business, especially in the Niger Delta and Gulf of Guinea.
  • At least 10 years of relevant Security experience
  • Strong program management, analytics, planning, communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work across teams and collaborate with others to deliver result.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and experience in leading and managing teams.
