Job Summary

  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Solar Engineer to join our team.
  • This role will support our clean energy initiatives by assisting with customer engagement, technical assessments, and project documentation. You will work closely with the Senior Solar Engineer to understand customer needs, evaluate solar installation feasibility, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a foundational knowledge of clean energy systems and a desire to grow their expertise in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in customer engagement by understanding their energy needs and requirements under supervision.
  • Provide introductory-level advice and recommendations on suitable solar energy solutions.
  • Support technical assessments of asset finance loans.
  • Aid in evaluating the feasibility and design of proposed solar installations.
  • Provide basic technical support and guidance to customers.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and basic technical assessments.
  • Stay updated with basic advancements in the clean energy industry.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical expertise and customer engagement skills.

Requirements

  • Background in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a Solar Installer is a plus.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in solar engineering, with a focus on customer engagement and technical assessments.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and performance evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for solar design and assessment.

Salary
N300,000-N400,000 Monthly.
