Job Title: Store Manager

Job Scope:
As a Store Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations within your assigned store. This includes managing staff, ensuring efficient store operations, maintaining high levels of accuracy in order fulfillment, and achieving operational targets. You will ensure that all processes are running smoothly, stock levels are maintained, and the store environment is organized and efficient.
Job Duties:
- Staff Management:
- Supervise and manage all store staff, including controllers, pickers, drivers, and receiving clerks.
- Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and uniform standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training as needed.
- Store Operations:
- Open and close the store on time.
- Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and efficiently laid out to maximize productivity.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and perform regular stock counts.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Ensure orders are picked accurately and dispatched promptly.
- Monitor and manage the flow of goods from receiving to picking to dispatching.
- Address any issues in the order fulfillment process to prevent delays.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the store’s budget and control expenses.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Health and Safety:
- Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and address any issues promptly.
- Communication:
- Liaise with the Operations Leader to report on store performance, issues, and achievements.
- Communicate company updates and new procedures to store staff.
KPIs:
- Staff performance and retention.
- Inventory accuracy and stock levels.
- Order fulfillment accuracy and efficiency.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma.
- Proven experience in a retail management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
