Role Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and engaging high-potential talent to build a dynamic and future-ready workforce. Reporting to the Talent Identification and Acquisition Manager, you will support both internal talent mobility and external recruitment, ensuring a robust talent pipeline for critical and strategic roles while advancing Ikeja Electric’s HR transformation agenda.
Key Accountabilities
Internal Talent Identification & Mobility

Partner with HR Business Partners and department heads to identify internal candidates for career advancement.

Manage internal job postings and employee assessments to ensure transparency and equal opportunity.

Support talent reviews, helping track and promote high-potential employees for growth.
External Talent Acquisition

Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for external hires, ensuring alignment with Ikeja Electric’s values and EVP (Employer Value Proposition).

Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies across diverse channels.

Create a seamless, positive candidate experience that strengthens Ikeja Electric’s employer brand.
Talent Pool Development & Networking

Build and maintain pipelines of top talent for critical and future roles.

Establish partnerships with universities, professional associations, and industry networks.

Manage a passive candidate database and nurture long-term relationships for future hiring needs.
Data & Metrics for Continuous Improvement

Collaborate with the HR Data & Intelligence Specialist to track metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and internal mobility rates.

Analyze recruitment data to identify gaps, optimize processes, and improve efficiency.

Prepare regular reports for review by the Talent Identification and Acquisition Manager.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a relevant field.

Postgraduate degree and/or professional HR certification (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, etc.) is an added advantage.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, or related HR fields.
