Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead, Strategy & PMO to spearhead strategy formulation, business performance optimization, and project execution across the organization. The successful candidate will partner with senior leadership, manage cross-functional initiatives, and ensure strategic alignment to drive growth and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Execution

  • Develop and implement the company’s strategic plan in alignment with business objectives.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of strategic initiatives.

  • Partner with senior leadership to align projects with organizational goals.

  • Provide data-driven insights and reports to support long-term strategic planning.

  • Translate strategy into actionable programs, ensuring set targets are achieved.

  • Review and analyze company performance periodically against the strategic plan.

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of key organizational projects.

  • Establish and maintain project management standards, tools, and best practices.

  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, budget, and quality requirements.

  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Business Performance & Optimization

  • Drive transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

  • Oversee cross-functional programs that improve customer experience and digital innovation.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to streamline workflows.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Work closely with senior leadership, regulators, and external partners to align strategies.

  • Present strategic recommendations and project updates to executives and board members.

  • Foster collaboration and build strong working relationships across teams.

Resource Management

  • Allocate and manage resources to meet project goals.

  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

  • Identify resource gaps and implement solutions to maintain momentum.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (MBA is an advantage).

  • 6–8 years of proven experience in strategy and project management.

  • Mandatory experience in the insurance or financial services industry.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.

  • PMP, Six Sigma, or related certification is an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
