Job Title: Tech Support Officer

Locations: Lagos
Job Type: Full time

 

The Role

  • The Monitoring Team Member is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective monitoring of systems, processes, and activities within the organization.
  • This role involves monitoring platforms, analyzing data, generating reports, escalations to the internal staff and third parties for prompt escalations, and providing recommendations to improve efficiency and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor Systems and Processes: Continuously monitor various systems and processes to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on monitoring activities, patterns, findings, and recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to address issues and implement improvements.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and manage incidents, ensuring timely escalations to the necessary channel for prompt resolution and proper documentation of incidents.
  • Training: Provide training and support to staff within the organization on monitoring tools and best practices.
  • Work schedule – Will be required to work weekends and night shift/rotations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in monitoring tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Teamwork : Ability to work as a strong team player.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power BI, SQL, and other relevant technologies is a plus.
