Job Summary
- We are looking for a Terminal Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial activities at the terminal.
- This executive role oversees the full spectrum of financial activities, including financial planning, risk management, accounting, compliance, and procurement
Key Responsibilities
Ensure Efficient Accounting Processes:
- Ensure timely and accurate recording/reporting of financial transactions.
- Oversee Requisition to Pay, Order to Cash, and Accounting to Reporting processes.
Drive Planning & Performance:
- Provide data-driven insights and external benchmarks to support decisions.
- Lead financial planning, investment analysis, and strategic business partnering.
Ensure Control and Risk Framework:
- Ensure financial information is accurate, reliable, and legally compliant.
- Maintain robust internal controls, risk management, and fraud prevention.
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and capital structure management.
- Manage claims, insurance, and monetary assets/liabilities.
Business Partner to the Managing Director:
- Implement finance strategies aligned with company and terminal goals.
- Lead functional initiatives (e.g. system upgrades, offshoring).
- Strengthen finance capabilities, processes, and business intelligence.
- Contribute to terminal leadership and own financial results.
Oversee Procurement and Legal Execution:
- Ensure daily execution of procurement and legal functions as part of terminal operations.

We Are Looking For
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics; ACCA, RA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
- Solid Experience in Finance Business Partnering or Controlling; 10–15 years in finance leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, reporting, inventory control, and accounting.
- Knowledge of the container shipping industry is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive initiatives and business insight.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
