Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Terminal Maintenance Officer to ensure seamless operations at our Ibafon terminal. The ideal candidate will oversee the inspection, servicing, and repair of terminal equipment, ensuring compliance with HSE policies while minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.
Key Accountabilities

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly checks on depot equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain up-to-date records of all equipment servicing and repairs.

Ensure availability of spare parts for prompt maintenance activities.

Enforce compliance with company HSE policies during all maintenance activities.

Prepare and submit timely reports on maintenance activities to the Line Manager.

Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance to prevent downtime during loading and discharge.

Ensure all maintenance activities are executed within the approved budget.

Support quality audits from regulatory bodies and ensure compliance.

Respond promptly to equipment fault reports and carry out effective troubleshooting.

Negotiate with vendors and service providers to reduce maintenance costs.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
-
OND in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.

Relevant professional training/certifications (highly desirable).

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar maintenance role.

Proficiency in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of power generators, valves, pumps, and motors.

Strong knowledge of process line fittings installation and maintenance.

Experience in engine assembly using engineering drawings.

Working knowledge of HSE management in maintenance operations.

Competence in maintenance management systems.

Knowledge of air conditioning servicing, diesel generator maintenance, and piping/process control.

Familiarity with AutoCAD for mechanical designs and drafting.

Good project management skills with proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks.
