We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Travel Sales Executive
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan and sell airline tickets, accommodations, insurance and other travel service.
  • Ensure at least 30 booking tickets are done with travelstart through the GIGM website in a week.
  • Grow the customer base of Travelstart airline tickets through the GIGM website
  • Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
  • Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) to travelers
  • Meet profit and sales targets on a monthly basis
  • Book airline tickets, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees through GIGM’s payment platforms
  • Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
  • Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds.
  • Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends.
  • Enter data into our software and maintain client files.
  • Network with tour operators to retain and build customer base.
  • Maintain statistical and financial records for proper decision making.

 

Requirement

  • An Experienced business development officer in the aviation sector will have an added advantage.
