Job Title: Treasury Officer (Specializing in FX and cross-Border Transactions)
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Requirements:
- Monitor currency markets and execute foreign exchange transactions to manage currency exposure
- Develop and implement FX hedging strategies to mitigate risks associated with exchange rate fluctuations.
- Maintain relationships with banks,financial institutions,and brokers to secure competitive FX rate and services
- Facilitate cross-border payments and ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirement
- Address challenges related to currency conversion,repatriation of fund,and transfer pricing.
- Monitor and forecast cash flow requirements to maintain sufficient liquidity.
- Manage short-term and long-term funding requirements
- Prepare and analyze cash flow reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls,policies, and external regulations
- Conduct analysis of treasury operations to identify opportunity for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Work closely with finance team to align treasury activities with business needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND, Finance, Economics or any related field,A professional qualification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of exchange markets,instruments and trading strategies.
- Experience in managing cross-border transactions
- 3-5 years’ work experience in treasury or related role,with a focus on FX and cross -border operations
- Excellent knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for cross-border financial transactions.
