Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Yacht Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and marketing of a luxury yacht.
- This role requires a combination of operational expertise, leadership, and marketing skills to ensure the yacht is impeccably maintained, fully operational, and successfully marketed for private use or charter.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily yacht operations, including scheduling, itineraries, and onboard logistics.
- Ensure compliance with maritime laws, safety standards, and insurance requirements.
- Monitor operational costs and manage budgets effectively.
Maintenance & Upkeep:
- Schedule and supervise regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Oversee refits, upgrades, and aesthetic enhancements.
- Ensure the yacht remains in top condition at all times.
Crew & Personnel Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage yacht crew, ensuring high performance and professionalism.
- Handle crew schedules, payroll, and compliance with labor regulations.
- Maintain a positive onboard environment and resolve personnel issues.
Marketing & Charter Management:
- Develop marketing strategies to promote the yacht for charters or private events.
- Manage digital presence, including social media, website, and promotional content.
- Build relationships with charter brokers, agents, and event partners to maximize bookings.
Client Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for yacht owners, guests, and charter clients.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences tailored to client preferences.
- Handle bookings, inquiries, and feedback professionally to maintain client satisfaction.
Financial & Administrative Duties:
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports related to yacht operations and marketing.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, service providers, and charter clients.
- Maintain all necessary legal, safety, and regulatory documentation.
Brand & Image Management:
- Maintain the yacht’s luxury brand image, ensuring exclusivity and high standards.
- Plan promotional campaigns and events to enhance visibility and brand awareness.
- Monitor industry trends to keep the yacht competitive and desirable.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of yacht operations, maintenance, and maritime regulations.
- Proven experience in marketing, client relations, and brand management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relations efficiently.
- Passion for luxury experiences and attention to detail.
Salary
N350,000 / month.
