Job Summary

  • As our Security Data Analyst, you will transform security data into actionable intelligence.
  • You will leverage your strong analytical abilities and comprehensive security knowledge to identify trends, assess risks, and provide critical insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • This role requires a security generalist – someone with a broad understanding of various security domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex security datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential threats.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key security metrics for leadership.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations based on data analysis findings.
  • Collaborate with security teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of security strategies and policies based on data-driven recommendations.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a data analyst within a security company (e.g., Halogen, Proton, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies across various domains.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, data visualization software).
  • Experience reporting directly to executive-level management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
